Santa Rosa Pergola Project
Timber frame pergola under construction on an elevated deck in Santa Rosa. Bolted post-and-beam connections, built for a residential outdoor living space.
Timber Frame Pergola Build
This pergola sits atop an elevated deck attached to a two-story home in Santa Rosa. The frame is built from heavy timber posts and beams, joined with bolted connections designed to carry real load, not just look the part. Getting the layout right meant working from a deck substructure that was already in place, so every post had to land exactly where the frame called for it. We brought in additional hands for this one. Timber frame work rewards patience over speed, and a project like this only gives you one shot to get the joinery right before the beams go up permanently. The bolted connections you see in progress here are what hold the whole structure together once the frame is set. This project is currently in the framing phase, with the timber structure taking shape over the deck. It's residential outdoor living work built the way we build everything: solid connections, square framing, and materials sized to last through North Bay seasons.
