Santa Rosa Composite Deck Project
Elevated composite deck built on posts with concrete footings, metal railing, and a stairway down to the patio. Completed in Santa Rosa.
Elevated Composite Deck & Stairway
This elevated deck in Santa Rosa needed a structural system that could carry the load well off the ground. We set it on posts anchored to concrete footings, giving the structure the strength to span the drop from the second story down toward the yard below. Composite decking makes up the surface — a material that holds up to sun and weather without the yearly staining wood decking demands. Metal railing with vertical balusters runs the perimeter, keeping the sightlines open to the trees around the property. A stairway attached to the deck connects down to a lower concrete patio, tying the two outdoor spaces into one usable flow. Glass and French doors from the house open directly onto the deck, so it works as a real extension of the living space rather than a separate add-on. This wasn't our biggest job by square footage, but the scope called for careful post layout, solid footings, and clean rail work from top to bottom. That's the same standard we hold on every deck we build, big or small, across Sonoma County.
