Santa Rosa Windows & Doors Project

This Santa Rosa remodel started with cutting a clean rough opening into the exterior wall, framing it with new wood studs to carry the load properly. Siding got trimmed back and squared up around the frame before the new door went in. The replacement is a white paneled door with a glass insert, set plumb and level in the opening. Once it was hung, we patched the surrounding drywall inside and buttoned up the transition where old wall met new framing. The hallway leading to the door got new wood-look plank flooring, tying the entry into the rest of the interior work. It's part of a larger overhaul on this residential property, and the door install is one piece of getting the house watertight and finished-looking from the inside out. Work is still in progress, with framing, flooring, and drywall all coming together room by room.
